西班牙ROSA藝術集團今年來了七位藝術家參加[Art Revolution Taipei 台北新藝術博覽會]。之前介紹了三位印象派風景畫大師(Miguel PeidroAndrés RuedaToni Cassany ),接著介紹的這一位是有著「現代版梵谷」稱號的印象派景觀畫大師 Ulpiano Carrasco,他也是第一次來參展。內心是表現主義般的狂野浪漫,外表卻批著印象派的調色板。像這幅「紐約」將夜晚霓虹燈照耀下的紐約市表現得如此燦爛華麗,好像在上演一場燈光盛會。

Ulpiano Carrasco [譯音: 烏皮安諾.卡洛斯科] 55歲(1961),西班牙人(維拉紐瓦德拉哈拉/昆卡)。他被稱為「現代版梵谷」,是西班牙辨識度很高的的藝術家之一。他的繪畫有著表現主義的大膽作風,但是卻披著印象派的調色板。在他的畫筆下,風景、靜物和城市景觀變得多采多姿。他的作品經常在西班牙、法國、英國、比利時、邁阿密、首爾、新加坡、香港、摩納哥、杜拜和日內瓦展出。自1985年起迄今至少有79項展出記錄(沒有區分個展或群展,但包括2項美術館、17場藝博會)。他的作品也被許多著名的公共機構所收藏,包括托萊多當代藝術美術館、西班牙當代版畫美術館、卡哈納瓦拉基金會、馬德里儲蓄銀行基金會、CCM銀行基金會、安東尼奧•佩雷斯基金會、格雷戈里奧普列托基金會、埃斯特韋斯收藏集團。

巴黎聖心教堂 [入選寶勝預展]
二十多年前,當我第一次來到巴黎,我就對聖心教堂所在的蒙馬特地區一見鍾情,這種愛一直持續著。我很享受從高處俯瞰這個城市,想著“巴黎是一座白色的城市”。這幅畫有很多紋理和物體,在著色上很容易混淆在一起。這就是我所謂的“符號”,一眼就能看出我的所在。

From my first encounter with the city, over twenty years ago, there was a first sight love with the Sacre Coeur  Montmatre district, this love is still alive. I enjoy very much when I look at the city from the top and  I think "Paris is a white city ". This painting has a lot of texture and matter it was executed with a high risk chromatic restriction, it presents what I call “ Symbol “ .To me, the lightest glance alert me where I am.

罌粟花
當春天來到拉曼恰,一如往昔,生命伴隨著五彩繽紛的顏色,又重生在大地上。這幅畫在追憶這個特殊的時刻,遠處的農舍與多彩的小丘。這幅畫滿佈著紋理,彷彿可以觸摸得到。它邀請觀畫者去感受到地球的心跳讓身心富足。紅、黃、綠為主色調,強調這裡是誰的地盤,並宣揚生物的多樣性。

When the spring arrives to the region of La Mancha, life, and with it, the COLOR, reborn as if magic were usual. This painting reminisces this particular moment , with its particular horizon of plots and multicolored monticules. Texture here is everywhere, as if it could be touched, the painting ask your hand to feel the beat of the earth and satiate the Spirit. Red, green and yellow tones crackle calling the attention of who inhabit, claiming involvement to compose this biodiversity.

巴黎
這幅畫是突顯多層次的構圖與紋理,以及城市的活躍度。顯而易見的,艾菲爾鐵塔是一主角,它的周圍滿佈著巴黎市色彩繽紛的屋頂。在畫面後方,我們可以看到新興的金融工商區--拉德芳斯。豐富的紋理和繁複的物件淹沒了整個畫作,像是見證我對「巴黎,光之城市」的愛。

This painting is eminently materic / texturized and vital.  The Eiffel Tower is the protagonist in a very rich setting, filled with the nice roofs of Paris, in the background we can see La Defense, the new financial and business district of the city. The richness of textures and the richness of the subject flood the painting, like an irresistible necessity of leave a proof of my love for the City of the light, Paris.

紐約 [入選寶勝預展]
從帝國大廈往北看出去,曼哈頓河擁抱著寬廣的「大蘋果」。這幅畫像製作雕塑似的被對待,不僅具有3D的質量,而且提供無限的視角。紅、藍、黃色調和亮光漆將冷暖色組合在一起。美國的銀行和克萊斯勒大廈之間,超過五十棟摩天大樓,像是組合成一個無盡的旋律。

North View from The Empire State Building.  The Rivers of Manhattan embrace the stylized big apple to cover its immensity. This painting is treated like an sculpture, the work acquires three- dimensional quality and offers an infinite perspective. Red, blue and yellow tones and glazes compose an image hot and cold at the same time. The Bank of America and the Chrysler Buildings shelter, between them, more than fifty skyscrapers like an endless melody.

紐約橋樑 [入選克緹預展]
這幅畫試圖擁抱紐約市。帶有點立體主義的意味來突顯布魯克林大橋和曼哈頓。它分為三個部份:哈得遜河上方的紐澤西州,朦朧的建築與湖泊彷彿就像在天上一樣;中層曼哈頓區其建築物所構成的幾何圖案,以及下方布魯克林區保有著美國工業的代表物--煙囪。

This painting was born in an attempt to embrace the city. It has cubist connotations  to highlight the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan over the East River. The painting is divided in three specific levels: New Jersey over the Hudson River, the buildings and lakes make the perspective- distance acting like the heaven. Manhattan with its buildings geometrically composed and Brooklyn with the remains of the chimneys that still survive from the American Industry.

紐約市的黎明
曼哈頓的清晨,這幅畫有著許多的紋理以及特別豐富的繪畫技巧:滴,揉,泡.....。著名的第五街在畫的右下角,用它特有的排熱蒸汽來強調。濃烈的色彩構成了主體的建築物,延伸到地平線那頭的中央公園。整幅畫採用鮭魚藍來夾出中間的主體,這在配色上是一種大膽的嘗試。

Morning view of Manhattan, this painting has many textures and it is specially rich in pictorial techniques: drip, rubbed, soaked… The 5th Avenue is highlighted (bottom right of the painting) with one of the characteristic steam columns produced by the heating of the buildings. The color applied like coats of texture composes the perspective up to the horizon going through Central Park. The painting is bathed is salmon and blue tones, the climatic  atmosphere is emphasized and acting between the spaces in a very audacious way.

克萊斯勒大廈 [入選BV預展]
這幅畫主要是透過亮光漆與捻抹來完成的。雄偉的克萊斯勒大廈雄踞在前景,遠處的紐約市彷彿置身在薄霧中。它是用反覆的上色與抹除來達到光與冷影的效果。東河、皇后大橋與皇后區的背景,非常和諧的融在一塊,好像從飛機窗外看出去的景觀。這幅畫幾乎只用白色和藍色,傳遞出一種多彩和發光的感覺。

Painting in which the perspective, achieved through glazes and rubs, fundament the space. The mistiness is everywhere, even the buildings that are in the foreground, with the majestic Chrysler building dominating the architecture. It is a continuous draw and erase to achieve  the effect of light and  cold shadow. With the East River, Queensboro and Queens on the background, the rich harmony composes a subtle and dared painting , full of coming and going that produce a flight sensation.
This painting is done with almost only white and blue colors that transmit the feeling of a colorful and luminous work.

ALMENDRAL CUAJANDO (標題不會翻譯,阿爾門德拉爾果凍?)
這幅畫是在 [西班牙卡斯蒂利亞-拉曼恰]昆卡省的比利亞爾塔所完成的。在背景,我們可以看到蜿蜒的卡夫列爾河從孔特雷拉斯端口流下來,恰好形成拉曼恰自治區與瓦倫西亞自治區的天然分界線。這塊區域的氣候,冬天溫和,春秋宜人,非常適合像杏仁、梨子、李子…等這些果樹的生長。從小,我每年都很期待去捕捉到果樹結出果實的那一瞬間,可惜因為繁複的技術問題所以一直沒有成功,直到2014年。這副畫就在描繪果實綻放的那一瞬間,它也是我的一個里程碑,開啟了日後一系列同一主題的作品。同時,我也可以很自豪的說這幅畫完全符合我的期待,不管是紋理上或是色澤上,都足以代表我故鄉「拉曼恰」的象徵意涵。

本來,這幅作品是我的私人收藏,我從未想要讓它公開展出,因為它是我第一幅成功掌握住大自然神奇時刻的作品,對我而言意義重大。但是在經紀人ROSA女士的請託下,讓它渡海來參加2016台北新藝術博覽會,我也很高興能介紹給台灣的朋友欣賞。

ALMENDRAL CUAJANDO
This painting was done in Villarta, Cuenca. In the sinuous background we can see the regions of “ La Mancha “ and Valencia, The Cabriel river that flows by the mountain pass of Puerto Contreras is a natural border between these two regions. This environment has a small microclimate that favors the growth of  fruit trees like almond, pear, plum ... winters are mild and autumn and spring  are very favorable for a perfect bloom.

This painting represents a constant challenge, from my first attempt of capture the concrete moment when the fruit is formed and the first leaves appear. I always, from I was a little child, wanted to catch this special moment, but it was almost impossible due the technical complexity, Finally in 2014 I managed to capture this moment. This painting is the first one of a series of paintings with this special subject  that I love to paint every year. I’m very proud of this piece as it met all my expectations, texture, color and symbolic representation of “ La Manchuela “ my homeland. 

This picture was part of my private collection , I never wanted to expose this work, because it is very special for me to as it is the first painting that succeeded in capturing a magical moment of the nature. Rosa managed to send it to Art Revolution 2016 and now I am very happy that it can be contemplated in Taiwan.

Ulpiano 的作品有著相當奔放的線條,在我們觀賞靜物中,他讓我們看到平常不曾注意的城市迷離色彩,豪放的讓色彩標記了不同建築物的標的,我們從中認識了紐約的風華與巴黎的鐵塔,真是美。除了城市以外,他還帶來美豔的罌粟花,在那一片火紅當中,植物只單純貢獻它的美,感謝藝術家,他的畫布與筆畫有著華麗的故事,有著細節與角度,如果你待得夠久,或許可以想像自己曾在巴黎的街頭遇上這些印象中的浪漫。

人稱「現代版梵谷」的 Ulpiano Carrasco,用色前衛大膽,跟當時的梵谷一樣。一般寫實主義講究「眼到手到」,可是表現主義更強調的是「心到」,要真實展現內心的感受。像他的「紐約系列」就可以讓人感受到紐約市五光十色的那一面。

Ulpiano的作品展現當代藝術的多元性,在他的描繪中,夜晚的城市上演燈光的盛會,一種普普風的氣息。作品中的艾菲爾鐵塔象徵著自由,撐起巴黎的天際線。城市裡每一棟建築都是大型的藝術雕塑,而建築是屬於人類的成就。在他的Youtube作畫影片裡看到他直接在畫板上混和顏色,一般畫家是在調色板上調好顏色後再沾到畫板上,他不是喔!所以他的畫好像都連成一塊,顏色之間互有關聯。然後再勾勒外形。
